Surely one of the most unusual-looking exhibits at the 2007 Detroit Auto Show was Ford’s latest concept car, the Ford Airstream Concept. Picking up where 2004’s Model U left off, the Airstream Concept is futuristic in some respects and deeply retro in others. In short, it’s an odd mix - but elements in that mix show some real value for the future of the automobile.

Hybrid Cars: Do You Really Save With These Fuel Economy Cars?

At the time of this writing, there is a game being played. And in my opinion, the game is called, “confronting the US oil crisis”. The major players are the car manufacturers, the government, maybe the EPA and have course the people being the unwitting spectators that are readily lured to the show.

And the game pieces are the fuel economy cars also known as hybrid cars.

I will begin by emphasizing the point that I don’t know everything there is to know about this so called “impending oil crisis”. And I’m not sure if there is anyone who knows everything there is to know about this impending oil crisis too. However, I am fairly certain that the hybrid cars wouldn’t be a prospective solution to the problem; not at least for a few more years. Read more »

Car Alarm

The Car Alarm just senses a motion and an electric current and when it starts alarming it will detect someone tampers with your car and there by warns the intruder in a stern voice that there is an alarm set and he will be in trouble. When the car senses a repeated and a heavy shock the voice shouts at a warning at a 127 db and the siren completely sounds for 30 seconds.

It has a complete instant panic feature like a woman voice which would scream out for help and a car finder mode which would chirp to help you locate your car easily in a parking lot which is crowded totally. The sensitivity of the alarm is set by striking your car alarm to set the shock into a threshold. The History Of The Great Ford Mustang

As far as the consumer is concerned, the history of the great Ford Mustang began when it was shown to the public at New York’s World Exhibition. The prototypes had been in existence since 1962, with the Mustang 1 (T-5) being first introduced to the motor racing world at the Watkins Glen Grand Prix where Stirling Moss and Dan Gurney drove it for a few laps each as a demo.

In the early 1960s, Ford desperately needed a new car to compete with the sporty Chevrolet Corsair Monza, and its first attempt, the Falcon Future, failed to compete. A brand new car was needed, and the idea for the Mustang was born. It was sporty and quick and a four seater.
